When she was little, Caressah cared little about her family, them being too busy to look after a child and her being too young to be of any use to them. So the first years of her life were a blissful ignorance in the gardens of Silvermoon City, as the incestuous nest of paranoid and powerhungry semi-insane Warlocks that is her noble house continued to fester on the inside.

When she was old enough to look even remotely as an adult, the head of the Solargaze house, her grandfather Sheragh Solargaze, imbued her with shadow powers without her even realising what had been done to her. Then she was left to take care of herself on her own, as any young warlock should, or die, consumed by her own hunger and corruption. Little by little Caressah grew separated from the family she didn't take interest in anyway and started her own separate research, using her skills to track corruption in the earth and analyze ore samples for traces of any magical residue. She never wandered too far, but became something of a hermit, so the Solargaze eventually forgot about her, focusing on their own decadent deeds.

Caressah joining the Seekers was more of an accident than actual longing for company at the beginning. She decided to follow a certain Hunter by the name of Yngdir to his meeting with his superior out of pure boredom. However, she found herself enjoying the company of the two, and accepted their invitation to join their faction on a whim. Later on, she discovered that this gave her grand opportunity to make bolder researches, as well as develop her combat abilities. The young warlock finally started to find the world interesting.

Now, after the arrival of Shadeweaver, the family butler, as he announced the 'accidental' death of Sheragh Solargaze, Caressah fears a probable return to her house, and she hopes she would remain forgotten as she has been her whole life.
