'Prince' Morvegil Empty 'Prince' Morvegil

Post  Morvegil Wed Feb 13, 2008 7:48 pm

Born into a world where he had to do nothing for himself, as the 'staff' would do it all for him. Raised in a world where pleasure was priority, and not a thing mattered otherwise. He lived more than content with his merchant family - which was now too wealthy to ever consider travelling to trade themselves - in a place he calls 'The Ruby Dunes'. Nobody seems to have heard of the place, and he seems to smirk and laugh when people ask.

Morvegil does not always address himself by the title of Prince, but 'The Ruby Dunes' was of nutorious wealth for a long time. People 'have' heard of "Prince Morvegil" if only from their older family members. But he was child when they heard of him. As Morvegil grew older, his desires went from entertainment of singers and dancers, to the base pleasures of adult life. His reputation was known throughout, but the young women didn't care so much. In the end it was his families decision that he had to learn discipline, he was out of control, and so was forced into the service of Silvermoon.

He was comfortable there, if bored. His personal wealth allowed him fine armor and arms, the other soldiers were a bit jealous and often gave him the cold shoulder - it didn't worry Morvegil though for obvious reasons, he felt above the wretched peasentry of the little city.

He achieved the rank of Captain through service rather than paying off the officials - something which he became revered for among his comrades The Seekers. He seems to serve some kind of power rather than the Light, although it's obvious where his power is drawn from. His claims that all he does is for 'The Will' rather than The Light shows that he is not fully adherant to the teachings, although as time goes by - it seems apparent that Morvegil has hardened quite alot. Though he still retains an unconcerned arrogance, it's not in his character to disobey direct orders anymore. And 'tail chasing' is not his only goal.

He has several tattoos showing rubies. Some cut, some wild and raw. They're all but one perfectly etched into his skin, and coloured as though by enchanted inks. In one particular cluster a deep scar is torn diagonally through the image of a cut ruby. Though most are visible on his forearms as he wears a short sleeved shirt, nobody asks, so he tells nobody.
